Steve Cunningham is the founder of a brilliant online business that shows you how to learn faster. It’s called Read It For Me – an online resource delivering the world’s best business book summaries and personal development guides which get designed and delivered to its members every week. In our interview with him, Steve talks about how he came up with the idea, how it can help any business owner improve their knowledge base fast and most importantly, how he goes about marketing this very clever and useful online business.

Plus Luke vents about some professional services’s approach to follow-up; we answer a question about how to identify a very specific target audience; and the Prof talks about the importance of emotion in marketing.

  1. This is a brilliant idea! I have a stack of business books in my Kindle queue that I just haven’t gotten around to reading.

My first thought when I started listening to this podcast was “How does the publisher and the author not hate this?” That was very nearsighted thinking. It’s really just another form of content marketing akin to releasing an album “single.”

Using a service like this gives you a taste and if you’re interested in exploring further you’re going to buy the full book. Or, as you rightly point out hire the author for other services.
