It’s true that around this time your customers probably get inundated with emails, but a lot of people don’t actually mind that much. In fact, they look forward to the opportunity to take advantage of the special offers they know businesses send out at that time. They know it will be crazy, but the special deals make it worth it. So, if you want to boost conversions over the next holiday period, try sending out a timely deal.

So, here’s my 3-steps t o creating a timely and happy holiday offer:

  1. Decide what you want to offer. Maybe it’s a 2-for-1 deal. Or buy this and get this special. Or free shipping. Whatever it is, make it seem of high value, whilst not breaking your bank!
  2. Once you’ve decided on your offer, design your campaign in your email client like Mail Chimp or Active Campaign . In order for your holiday offer to be successful, take the time to theme your email to coincide with whatever holiday you plan to send it out over. And work with a designer to create some original graphics for your campaign to spice things up a little more.
  3. Send your email out and watch how it impacts your sales

Pro-Tip: If it works, look for the next holiday opportunity to send a similar email out – just be careful not to overdo it. Your offers will be less enticing the more often you do them.
