After working for 10 years in a hospital, Leena van Raay decided she wanted to actively promote health rather than cure sickness. Wanting to promote healthy eating and the joy of cycling to the masses, she quit her full-time job as a medical researcher and started Bike n’ Blend. She has been so busy she has hardly had the time to look back! Bike n Blend is now an events company that promotes healthy living, cycling and sustainability through their Australian smoothie bikes that engage and excite young and old at festivals and events all around Australia.
Listen in to Australia’s best marketing podcast as I chat with Leena about:
- Escaping the corporate cubicle
- Where the idea for Bike ‘n Blend came from
- How she got the idea to market
- And plenty more marketing insights
Plus I share some listener feedback from someone who’s taking some serious marketing action; and I’ve got a motivational quote that’s more of kick in the butt!
