So, here’s my 3-steps to surprising your wonderfully loyal customers:
- Gather up their contact details of your most ardent fans. No matter what you send them, I suggest getting their postal details so that you can send something tangible. Even if it’s a voucher that could be emailed, send a hard copy of it wrapped with a big, beautiful bow!
- Decide on what you’re going to send them. Get creative. My go-to gift is a nice coffee table book on the person’s area of interest. But a nice dinner with their partner, Gold Class movie tickets or a voucher to an experience are all good options.
- Send your gift and be sure to include a handwritten message letting them know how much you appreciate them and their ongoing custom.
One of the best ways to turn consumers into loyal followers is by showing appreciation. It is important to reward customer loyalty to build long lasting relationship.
Pro-Tip: Write your message from the heart … no sales speak. No website addresses. No offers. Just write as if you’re writing to a friend.
