  1. Great interview guys, some real deep learning for when it all seems impossible.
BTW: Gloweave still make great shirts, we sell 100’s of them. Another iconic Aussie company that had to reinvent themselves. Lukee, an Urban Fit kind of guy like me. Big fella, you stick to the Contempory Fit & the women won’t be able to keep their hands off you!!

  3. Likewise this was a great (non marketing?) episode – I like to hear the team using the values as a decision making tool. A fellow coach friend has clients who use their value list as a checklist for every board decision. Oh OK 7p’s one of which is people ….

  5. Thanks Arn. I can’t believe Gloweave is still knocking them out! What an icon! If you know the owner / MD, let me know and we’ll get them on!

  6. So true, Anthony. One of a number of marketing workshops I run is all about working with a business to identify their brand – and a key part of this is uncovering what I refer to as their guiding principles AKA core values. Know these and be true to them in all aspects of your business and you’re well down the track to building something special. Here’s the link to my workshop FYI -> http://www.theideasguy.com/how-to-build-a-brand-branding-workshop/

  7. Loved this interview. Interesting how the culture from the UK based camping tours and bucket shops of the 1970’s has scaled and survived competition from the internet. Would also be interesting to hear from Graham Turner on what lessons he learnt from Top Deck he applied to Flight Centre.
