Tansel Ali is the only person in the world to memorise two Yellow Pages directories in 24-days – now that’s what I call a marketing stunt. Not surprisingly, he’s also 3-times Australian Memory Champion, a celebrity memory coach, a bestselling author and sought after speaker. You can find Tansel on Twitter @TanselAli

- Continue to focus on telling your story.
- Create a marketing stunt.
- Ask yourself this question: “Is there something in my world that I am either exceptional at or passionate enough about to go and build a business around?”
INSPIRATIONAL MARKETING QUOTE

To be honest, I thought, “Crap. Why did he get this nut case on the show?” But man I loved it! Taking something he was passionate are really turning it into a business. Showed the importance of telling a story, not just in building memory, but also, your business story. His is great. He’s the real deal, and now helps others. I want to learn this stuff. He needs to build out his products online so we can all benefit. I’d love to learn some of this and teach my kids. Not just a good business story, but good marketing lesson too. Great press ideas too. What’s his name was great!
You make me laugh, Nicko! Great about about the need for Tansel to build out his online offering – amazing learnings fro kids. Deep respect for him wanting to take what he’s learnt to help the rest of us who forget where our keys are. My wife’s response is “They’re where you last left them.”
Righto, lets get to it. I didn’t connect here. Hey, a really nice guy, but I couldn’t understand the whole memory thing here. I saw points where it was relevant, but not enough to say……..GOLD!
I do love a harsh critic. Thanks for the feedback, Chris – I’ll just work a little harder at raising the bar 😉
