Hey Travis, sounds like the new expansion plans are bigger and better than the Shark Tank deal..good luck with it!
Must say I admire you for sticking with the business through the hard times. If you were ‘giving it to the end of month’ on a number of occasions it’s likely that many people would have walked away well before they reached that point. Well done for staying the course.
The restrictions that ‘bricks and mortar’ tyre businesses have due to physical territories is an interesting discussion point. Presumably you will offer your franchisees protection through geographic boundaries too?
cheers

Love deep dive on family stress following Travis business from start up to now. The family life is rarely discussed. Its impact is huge and the success or failure does depend on family support.
Another one that totally inspired me! #1 takeaway put yourself out there #2 embrace your passion
Another great chat Timbo and well done Travis! Shark Tank is my new favourite show and you definitely nailed your pitch! I don’t know if I would have had the courage to confront those sharks when launching my own start-up.
Good luck with your business expansion Travis and remember, things always happen for a reason!
I reckon you would have found the courage, Luke. Passion beats fear, like the scissors beat the paper ;0)
I totally concur with those take-aways, Sarah. Putting yourself out there is mission critical. Good on Travis for doing just that.
Travis’s wife’s support was amazing. Sounds like he couldn’t do it without her. What a great team.
Travis certainly showed some courage, Fat Badger. I’ll ask him to respond to your geography question. Stay tooooned!
Was great to see Travis on the Shark Tank, Great podcast looking into finding a market niche. I am sure a few business owners can relate to the sleepless nights of cutting it close to the wind. Well Done 🙂
Thanks Karl. I loved Travis’s honesty – he’s not there yet, but is well on his way!
