A little more about Coastal Asbestos’s Jason Spaull …
Born and bread in Victoria Jason moved to the Gold Coast in 1990 and fell in love with the place as he says he is 31 years into his 2-week holiday. He is married to Karen Spaull with two children Jed and Sophie still loves the Gold Coast as much as the day he landed.
Jason Has spent most of his working life as a trades man and running trades business Metalcraft roofing his this was the Gold Coasts number one roofing repair company working directly with all the biggest and most iconic companies on the Gold Coast Billabong, Stockland, Rix developments ,Bruce Lynton BMW, TSS and St Hilda’s after 25 years he needed a new direction.
That’s why he started Coastal Asbestos Removal, keeping people safe is what he does it’s the number one driving force behind Coastal Asbestos Removal. In just 8 short years he has grown the business to 14 employees and has completed projects for Hospitals , Gold Coast City Council ,Main Roads and in 2017 he completed the biggest asbestos impacted soli removal job ever on the Gold Coast for the new Instrument Landing System at Gold Coast Airport safely sorting and removing 23000 cubic meters of asbestos impacted soil whilst over a million passengers passed safely thru the Gold Coast Airport .Other achievements are winning a small business excellence award from the Gold Coast Business excellence awards for bets emerging business and excellence in workplace health and safety from Master builders association Gold Coast .
Jason is also very active in suicide prevention after loosing his Brother Mark to suicide in Jason has trained with Mates in construction to deliver his “ Lived experience of suicide “ to benefit the wider community, he has appeared on many podcasts including Roses radio, The Site Shed, Tradies in Business Show , Uni Dad and been key note speaker at industry nights held by Master Builders association , Mates in construction and , charity functions supporting men’s health and suicide prevention.
