A little more about Rapid Recovery’s Bob Wheeler …

 

Many moons ago, Bob Wheeler went to a bachelor party a day early with another of the groomsmen. They’d decided to have a quiet night out before the rest of the party arrived.

?Bad idea. That quiet night became an enormous night.

So much so, that at 11:00AM the next day Bob called his casino host and asked to have his flight changed. 

He was in such a bad way that all he wanted to do was go home and miss the rest of his mate’s bachelor party. Luckily, his host called a car and had Bob sent to an intraveneous spa, to which Bob rolled up in his PJs!

An hour and a half later Bob was back at the tables, rollin’ the dice, drinking doubles and ready to party.

Bob’s hangover cure worked so well, in 2016, he (along with wife Rachel) decided to open an IV spa in their home town. Called Rapid Recovery, they now own three clinics – two in Texas and one in Louisiana.

Now, a hangover curing business is interesting in itself.

But what’s even more interesting about Bob is his love of what he does, his deep respect for marketing and his obsession with this podcast.

In his own words he says “I listen to every episode twice. First time I just listen, the second time I listen with a notebook in hand and take notes.”

And this is where the rubber hits the road. Bob doesn’t just jot down a bunch of ideas he hears …. He actually implements them. And that, my friend, is where the magic happens.

He very kindly attributes his massive monthly turnover increase ($3,000 to $75,000 a month), 100% to the ideas he’s picked up from this podcast.

 I, on the other hand, attribute this 2,500% increase to his ability to implement.
